The Ice Queen

This was the initial stage of the Illustration. I started by collecting visual references that I thought made for interesting Illustrations. I then wrote out a brief description of what the scene might be about. After this I did some initial sketches.

Stage 1 I decided to crop the canvas and zoom in more so that there was more on an intimate relationship with the character. At this point I didn't have a reference to copy from, and looking back, I should of got one from the start.
